Through The Night

As she stares blankly through the night, she tries to collect all the sanity thats left within her. She knows she should be thankful for all the blessings that God has given her, yet she the tears still seems to find their way through her eyes. Confusion is all thats left. Is it just her, or does everyone seems to give her a harder time than she already has. Is she old enough to find love or is the words of her mother's right? That she's just a young girl in the world that seems to fall in love easily? Still, those words of underestimation stabs her like a knife. She wants to cry out to the world but it seems no matter how much she screams, no one will ever hear. A suggestion of care and trust is there, yet it is just a vague imagination of hope that she always tries to keep in herself to make sure that her conscious will stay with her.

She can see the disappointment in all the eyes of all the people that she cares for. None of them seems to know that out of all of them, she's the most disappointed one. She beats herself with a stick trying to relieve herself from the inner pain that she's truly feeling. She doesn't know who to please. She doesn't know who to trust. She doesn't even trust herself, at least at the condition that she's in now. She's questioning God's authority, asking whether this is all a big laugh for Him. It seems whatever step she'll take, someone will be disappointed, will be hurt.

So which step is she gonna take? Whichever she takes, she knows there's a sea of tears waiting for her there. Yet the main question will be, will it take her to the place thats best for her?
